MULTIPIXEL TERMS OF SERVICE (TOS) — DRAFT v1.0

This document governs the use of the MultiPixel Platform, Services, and Ecosystem.
1. DEFINITIONS
1.1 “MultiPixel”
Refers to the MultiPixel Platform, Launcher, Services, Software, APIs, Governance Systems, and all related components provided by Relimintor (“Provider”).
1.2 “User”
Refers to any individual or entity accessing or using MultiPixel.
1.3 “Account”
Refers to a registered identity used to access MultiPixel Services.
1.4 “User Content”
Refers to any content created, uploaded, transmitted, or otherwise made available by Users, including but not limited to Mods, Builds, Scripts, Server Configurations, and Submissions.
1.5 “Governance Framework”
Refers to the rules, policies, and operational standards located in the /Governance directory of the MultiPixel repository, which are incorporated by reference into this TOS.
1.6 “License”
Refers to the MultiPixel Source‑Available License v2.2, which governs code usage and is incorporated by reference.
1.7 “Services”
Refers to all online, multiplayer, account‑based, or network‑connected features of MultiPixel.
1.8 “Server Operator”
Refers to any User hosting a MultiPixel server, whether public or private.
1.9 “Mod Developer”
Refers to any User creating or distributing Mods or Extensions for MultiPixel.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
2.1 By accessing or using MultiPixel, the User agrees to be bound by:
- This Terms of Service
- The MultiPixel Source‑Available License v2.2
- The Governance Framework
- Any additional policies referenced herein

If the User does not agree, they must immediately cease all use of MultiPixel.
2.3
Continued use after any update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
3. ELIGIBILITY
3.1
Users must be at least 13 years old or meet the digital consent age in their jurisdiction.
3.2
Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
3.3
Users prohibited from accessing digital services under applicable law may not use MultiPixel.
4. ACCOUNTS
4.1
Certain Services require an Account.
4.2
Users must provide accurate information and maintain the confidentiality of their credentials.
4.3 Users may not:
- Sell, transfer, or lease Accounts
- Impersonate others
- Create fraudulent identities
4.4
Provider may suspend or terminate Accounts for violations of this TOS, the License, or the Governance Framework.
5. PERMITTED USE
5.1 Users may access and use MultiPixel solely in accordance with:
- This TOS
- The License
- The Governance Framework
- Applicable law
5.2 Users may not:
- Circumvent security systems
- Reverse engineer Services
- Interfere with platform integrity
- Use cheats, exploits, or automation tools
- Engage in harmful, illegal, or abusive behavior
5.3
Provider reserves the right to enforce compliance through technical, administrative, or legal means.
6. USER CONTENT
6.1
Users retain ownership of their User Content.
6.2 License to MultiPixel
By submitting User Content, Users grant Provider a:
- Worldwide
- Perpetual
- Irrevocable
- Royalty‑free
- Transferable
- Sub‑licensable
license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, and incorporate such content into MultiPixel.
6.3 This license is necessary for:
- Compatibility
- Archival systems
- Safety enforcement
- Platform continuity
- Server interoperability
6.4
Provider may remove or restrict User Content that violates this TOS or the Governance Framework.
7. MODS AND EXTENSIONS
7.1 Mods are governed by the License and must comply with:
- Security requirements
- Content restrictions
- Technical guidelines
- Distribution rules
7.2
Unauthorized distribution, forks, derivative engines, or external reuse of MultiPixel code or assets is prohibited.
7.3 Provider may:
- Approve or deny Mods
- Revoke approval
- Audit Mods for safety
- Remove harmful or non‑compliant Mods
7.4
All Mods are considered derivative works under the License.
8. SERVERS AND MULTIPLAYER
8.1 Server Operators must comply with:
- This TOS
- The License
- The Server Operator Guidelines
- Monetization Rules
8.2
Commercial servers require explicit written approval from Provider.
8.3 Provider may:
- Audit server monetization
- Revoke commercial approval
- Suspend or block non‑compliant servers
- Enforce safety and content standards
8.4 Server Operators are responsible for:
- Moderation
- Player safety
- Compliance with local laws
- Data handling obligations
9. MONETIZATION
9.1
Monetization is prohibited unless explicitly permitted under the License.
9.2 When permitted, monetization must comply with:
- Revenue‑share requirements
- Cosmetic‑only donation rules
- No pay‑to‑win mechanics
- No gambling or lootboxes
- No crypto, NFTs, or blockchain systems
- No dark patterns
9.3 Violations may result in:
- Account termination
- Server shutdown
- Liquidated damages as defined in the License
10. SAFETY AND CONDUCT
10.1 Users may not engage in:
- Harassment, hate speech, or discrimination
- Threats, violence, or exploitation
- Sexual content involving minors
- Extremist or terrorist content
- Doxxing or privacy violations
- Fraud or impersonation
10.2
Provider may moderate, restrict, or remove content or accounts to enforce safety.
10.3
Provider may report illegal activity to authorities.
11. DATA AND PRIVACY
11.1 Provider may collect:
- Technical data
- Crash logs
- Usage metrics
- Server join logs
- Chat logs (for safety and moderation)
11.2 Provider does not collect:
- Sensitive personal data
- Financial information
- Government identifiers
11.3
Data handling is governed by the MultiPixel Privacy Policy.
12. UPDATES AND CHANGES
12.1 Provider may update:
- The Platform
- This TOS
- The Governance Framework
- Safety rules
- Technical requirements
12.2
Users are bound to the version in effect at the time of use.
13. TERMINATION
13.1 Provider may suspend or terminate access for:
- Violations of this TOS
- Violations of the License
- Violations of the Governance Framework
- Illegal activity
- Harm to the Platform or community
13.2
Users may cease use at any time.
13.3 Termination does not void obligations that survive termination, including:
- Intellectual property rights
- Liability limitations
- Indemnification
- Governing law
14. DISCLAIMERS
14.1
MultiPixel is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind.
14.2 Provider does not guarantee:
- Uptime
- Compatibility
- Error‑free operation
- Data permanence
14.3
Users assume all risks associated with use.
15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
15.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Provider is not liable for:
- Loss of data
- Loss of revenue
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Server or mod failures
- User Content issues
15.2
Liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law.
16. GOVERNING LAW
16.1
This TOS is governed by the laws of Sweden.
16.2
Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in Swedish courts unless otherwise required by law.
